so is there any one can tell me what is the exact type of them ??

so strange .. !!

no one know anything about FH nowadays !!!!!

Ive heard great things about NLS(New life spectrum) they should carry it at your lfs. BTW I like B the most :)

A/B/C are zz

D I have no clue kinda reminds me of amphilophus chancho

All of them are under the strain called thai zz, but letter A & D are both female.. As far I've seen them these are old school flowerhorns.

i love ABC, except D, flower spot too small.
A. Could be male.
B. Female. Best pearls.
C. Unclear fins, kind of stressed, but will show most red among all four flowerhorns.
D. Male

yes they are all old school FH ..

but i got confused more :(

ok now i am sure of the strain ..

but not sure for the sex !!!

some say that A & D both males and some say both females !!

s nani is right nd to check wether it is male r female check this

#Sexing Method
1. Distinctive black marking on the dorsal fin indicates that it is a female. However, this is not foolproof. The same pattern does exist on some male Flowerhorns.

2. Observations on the shape of the genital papillae. V-shaped papilla indicates a male fish, while a U-shaped papilla indicates a female fish. Gently squeezing the abdominal region may reveal the papillae.

3. Male Flowerhorns will have broader body with higher dorsal, anal and caudal fins. It is also observed that male Flowerhorns will have thicker jawline and more distinctive body color.
