Basicall you must be able to demonstrate compliance with the Lacey Act by showing proof of compliance w/ CITES and Indonesian law. Then you can import, do you have that flagtail?

The seller did not provide information as to whether he/she holds the proper export permit from the country of origin. Therefore, it would be assumed that the animal was to be sold "as is". If the terms of your post are correct, this would mean it is indeed illegal to transport the turtle across the US border.

However, since it is sold, I will now close this thread.
