actually i got it as a gift.
it was between 15 and 30 bucks tho,cant remember and on ebay there around that.

hey does the "rod" actually function like a rod, and bend? and not break.
what do you think is the biggest size fish you can catch safely? 1lber?

I have used one of those "pen" type rods for trout and for pile perch. It worked quite well but does not have much range. Mine cost $19 rigged and including 3 plastic grubs. I got it at a bait shop. The largest fish I have caught with it was a very nice slab-sided rubberlip surfperch that wieghed about 3 lbs. I think that the line is 4 lb test.

i told my tutor about the poacher's pocket rod and he said he was about to buy one at a local sports authority. will go look sometime.
and the rocket shooting rods..i seen some kids fishing with it but it doesn't fly at all...and the bobber thing is huge..i wouldn't think even a bluegill will go for it.
