hi folks, I'm currently building my first dart frog terrarium out of a 55 (thought it was a 70. doh!) In any case I am using the foam + driftwood construction method, and I plan to have a waterfall and stream, with the water fall in the back right corner, and a pond in the front left, with a stream connecting them. I will bury the pump in the terra-lite layer and have the pond be just a fiberglass-lined dip int he corner. My plan for the waterfall is to use the same foam as the background, but for the stream i'm conflicted- I've considered cork curls(too straight/wide), foam (I worry about spraying it in with the substrate in place), siliconed slate (too easy to leak out of/might come loose) etc.
So...anybody have any advice for the plumbing/ construction or other plumbing methods. Also, any advice on the flow rates advisable frogs (probably leucomelas) I am using a rio 1700 for the waterfall and a rio 400 for the background plant waterer. I am open to suggestions. (sorry for the long post)
