i actually haven't noticed. i would've been 7 when she 90s started and was way more into sports and music then pokemon, pogs, etc. Guess i missed the boat.

explain something to me. Why would young adults like someone your age still be interested in it regardless of it being a laughing matter for the general public? What is there still to follow?
I don't know tbh. I mean it's not like I'm still obsessed with it like I was as a preteen, but it's not like I'm ashamed to talk about it or anything like that. Personally I really don't give much thought to what others think of my hobbies, a lot of people find it strange that I enjoy keeping fish and spend hundreds of dollars on the hobby, but that doesn't keep me from enjoying it and talking about it.

Well, i guess my question is are they still creating new characters, storieslines, cards etc or has it just become a collector type thing?

Yeah they're still making new games, TV, shows, cards, etc., but there are far fewer people now that actually keep up with the newer stuff. I still have a lot of my cards that I collected years ago, but it has probably been about 5 years since the last time I added to the collection. The new characters keep getting more and more rediculous and repetitive, which has probably contributed to the loss of interest in Pokemon.

i almost answered "what the hell you are on?" for asking this question when the answer is obviously pokemon

im 4 year old veteran from the nam war. i love pokemans

Well do you keep old collections from when a kid... sports cards or something? I dont know... its like you watch things when you a kid.... and you still like it throughout your life. For instance I work at sesame street at a theme park and omg the older and old old old adults and children still loves all the characters and get all retarded when they see them...... isnt the adult a a little old for that? Yea I think so but they still act like there 3 when some of them see the costume characters. There are some things people just dont grow out of. I like pokemon and I am not ashamed... but I also like what I collected and what I watched. I like to collect the older cards from when I was young.... they are the only ones I think hold any value collecter wise anywho. Its just one of those things.
