Trust me guys, this was not a "cuddly" bear. Polar bears are the most dangerous bear species in the world, and for good reason. They are vicious!

I certainly don't advocate the police action by any means, though. There was a better way to handle this situation, and they did it the easy way. It was pure laziness. It was easier to kill the bear than to have to sedate and transport it.
