What’s interesting is that pearling is on them doesn’t happen often within con crosses, wish I could get my hands on a female or two to chase some of those features. You can almost see the bars from the polar blue. I would have expected similar to convict cross here
With in my cyano X black cons none showed pearling they just got a green coloration to them and bigger bodied. Which was a little frustrating I’ve seen Jd x cons have some pearling to them but I like the idea of the fire polars being smaller in size. Honestly like smaller cichlids. Not as many for sure. So of my Texas x con crosses show more pearling. However I noticed when crossed with carpintis alot less pearls.
Hello. Did anything happen? My female nicaraguan was hanging out with my polar blue male, and I didn't expect it to be viable that they produce anything, but lo, I've just seen a whole gang of fry swimming about. Not what I wanted, so likely will cull them. Am curious to see what one might grow up like. How are these looking now? I paired off a nice looking Honduran Red Point with a Polar Parrot, and am currently raising those fry up, and now have a polar parrot in a breeding setup with a Male Nicaraguan.

Here’s what polar x macaws look like pulled from my site Binnspedia.comThank you! The top one looks a bit patchwork, but the bottom one is actually quite nice looking. I'll grow a couple on a see. Much appreciated.View attachment 1569666Here’s what polar x macaws look like pulled from my site Binnspedia.com
