Pole's 330 gallon ghetto pond system

Recently I was wandering round my lawn, and I came across three 48'' x 24'' x 22'' containers, on which me and my little sis are working on. I'm hoping I can get this done by Spring. So far we've managed to get water into the middle pond, however there is still a layer of rotten leaves, and the water is pretty murky. The other two ponds are filled in, so I need to dig those out.

if each container is only 48x24x22 how will the pond be 330 gallons? out of curiosity

If Pole puts all three containers together then the total gallons would be 330.

Cut the ends off, put them together and then make it one with a pond liner

I am not planning on connecting it, as each container would ideally house different fish, one container holding some natives.
