Pole's 330 gallon ghetto pond system

so what are your stocking plans then? don't you have some pretty cold nights?

yes, I am thinking some cheap common goldfish for the middle pond and another would ideally be natives( would love a pred) and the others I'm not sure about, maybe hardy fancy goldfish or more natives. might keep one natural to breed blood worms possibly.

Your going to need some sort of flowing water mate , the only prob I can think of is it freezing if we get a real cold winter it mite freeze deep
as for native fish get some baby perch and grow them up good looking preds , goldfish in other , and worm breeding sounds good for the third

sounds like a good plan :) would I be able to use a couple of floating balls to keep it from freezing over?
 
It works on larger ponds but they mite be a but shallow , you could always use that technique and if it gets really cold break it yourself daily/nightly
 
Flowing water or waterfall will also help prevent this
 
No probs , if you do have to break it yourself dont go at it like a mad man remember there's fish it there :D
