Alright Rodney, you're going to hate me for this one.
When I was in a boarding school in Connecticut back when I was 16 (my god, I can't believe that was 8 years ago), a group of us went out to a theater in Branford CT. One of my friends Justin Doucette, happened to be very large, over 400 lbs. There had been this older "gentleman" sitting in front of us yapping away to his wife during the entire movie, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". To this day, I still can't watch that movie because of that day.
Anyway, Justin was carrying sodas back for us from the lobby, and he tripped and fell. When a fat man falls, you laugh. We laughed hard. The yappy guy in front of us turns directly me to me and says "SHUT THE HELL UP YOU LITTLE SH*T!"
I retorted: "Uh, this is coming from the same guy that's been yacking to his wife the whole movie? Shut up, turn around, and wisen up old man"
"Oh you want some trouble you little punk?"
"Bring it you dickless old f*ck".
He pulls a badge out of his wallet and flashes it really quick.
"What do you have to say for yourself now, *******?"
I said "Oh, I have one of those too", reached into my pocket, and pulled out my middle finger".
I mean come on, for all I knew, he was a mall security guard.
He stands up and says "Why don't we take this outside?"
I said "You're on old man".
Soon as I get into the aisle, he grabs me hard by my shirt and tears it, and punched me in the face. I spit blood in his eyes, punched him in the face, kicked him in the nuts, then when he doubled over, I kicked him in the face, and he went down. I gave him a last kick in the ribs.
There were a lot of witnesses to how he started it, but of course, my dorm advisor, Aaron Brenner (I will never forget that lying bastard for the rest of my life), said "Oh, you can get in touch with us at the GROVE SCHOOL!".
Next day, I get pulled out of class, and informed that I "assaulted the chief of police of Guilford, Chief Cruise".
My jaw dropped.
I explained exactly what happened, so did the 10 people who were with me, but he went with the word of the chief over my word, and the dorm staff backed up the chief's story, even though he was in the bathroom for the entire event.
I was suspended for a month.
It's because of police like that, that I have an EXTREMELY low opinion of cops. The majority of them that I come across in the South and in the NorthEast is that they were the jocks in high school, had failing grades, were the bullies, and now want to be professional bullies for a living.
