political unrest in tank

Since i moved my Oscar(the alpha fish) out of one of my main tanks to alleviate the bioload, the remaining occupants have gone nuts. It would seem they are trying to reestablish the pecking order. The primary culprits, are my short body GG, gator gar, and short nose gar. My 10"
D. Microples is the biggest in the tank, but he stays uninvolved. Has anyone experienced this? Should i let them resolve this on there own? no serious injuries yet,a few fins have been damaged on my silver dollars and blackbar.the gator gar did have the shortnose gar's head in his mouth but i think thats been the worst of it. Im hoping i won't have to transfer anyone yet.

My scat is huge and all he does is hide. My dat has potential but all he does is hide. My dither killies and my 1 inch puffer like to be BA.

How big is the tank?

I would leave them in there and let them work it out as long as no one is seriously getting hurt, they should stop once they will reestablish the alpha.

I know its not an option, but it would be funny to put the Oscar back in and see what happens. Silly fish.....just like people.

I let them work it out and it seemed to be going well until my short body GG got his tail ripped off. At that point i had to intervene somewhat and move the GG to another tank.

Lol.. i actually did reintroduce the oscar after doubling up my bio media and and adding another canister. Oredr has been restored!! and water is stable now.
