when i was younger my dad kept a 14" black and a 16" silver aro. one day we cut down a tree in our yard and there were 2 baby birds in it that were just starting to get feathers. The aros gulped them down. we also threw in a "jumper" mouse that was a little too big for my then young corn snake to eat. the silver swam around with what looked like spaghetti hanging out of its mouth for about 15 minutes and gulped it down.

I had a albino channel cat that repeatedly ate a ceramic frog I had as a decoration. The first time it just disappeared and reappeared a day later. The second time I saw him do it and freaked out. He spit it out as I was chasing him so I could heimlich him. The third time I was out of town, he died
I still have the frog though!

After the second time you should of just taken it out of the tank so it couldn't chew it up.

My 8"LMB ate a 12" Garter Snake. It was awesome. Back in the day I caught a 4" shiner and my 6" Redline SH ate it. Man do I miss that fish.
