I vote SA (I wouldn't think a dovii would work very well with smaller cichlids), but a large tire track or fire eel would make a great addition, imo. And a large shoal of redhook SD's would look nice as well.

Btw, I know this is slightly off topic, but can you post some pics of the tank? (I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see pics of that monster) :headbang2

Well, There's too much in there, to many fish and a lot of hybrids that I'm not a real big fan of. The tank is it's own room and I'd like to empty it and seal the whole room so not to use lids any longer and just encapsulate the lights. It makes for a great affect in the tank. And whilst its empty I'd like to redo the aquascape incorporating a background...

Well im that kind of guy to likes a show quality tank but i would not go as far as limiting myself to one region to make the tank better. I think you should basically start over and add fish as you go. Personally i like a smart fish with moods :D, but i would seriously start adding fish slowly and see where it takes you.

Edit: And also stay away from flower horn hybrids (aggressive bastards) and buy fish that make you say "wow"

It would have to be about 22".

Arowana, Peacock Bass, Datnoids, Bichirs, Pacu, Stingrays

If I had a tank that size I would go with Madegascar Cichlids. You could get about 15 P. Menarambo or P. Maculatus which ever you prefer and you'd have an amazing tank and these fish are very sturdy and unique.

Definitely have Oscars! I dream of a large tank of Oscars. I'd go with a SA/CA mix too.

I do not think the Ceibal are a good fit as where they are a Uruguayan Cichlid they require cooler year round temperatures (lower 70's) than the other fish you are suggesting in your stock list as well as a three month period at even cooler temps (60's).

Good luck with your tank though, regardless of how you stock it. You have an opportunity most of us can only dream about haha,
