I'd go with pike cichlids and peacock bass. peanut power is gonna love that answer. my second favorite predator is my ctenopoma. his hunting strategy is amazing. He flips to a verical position and levitates over his prey looking like a dead leaf. He then slowly lurches forwards then lunges quickly. he's the balls.

Since the Black Tip Reef shark is hands down my favorite fish, I have to put it here first.
I love silver arowanas for the way they curl up into an S before lunging after their prey like a snake.
But when it comes to balls to the walls inihilation of their prey, you can't beat the peacock bass. I'm sure you've all seen some of the feeding videos available on the site here. I am amazed every night at just how quickly my p-bass can strike a silverside as soon as it hits the water and then return to their resting place in just a blink of an eye. Absolutely amazing!!!

but i lke the wolf fish cuz even if the wolffish is small they can get the fish in a snap sand if they have the fish in their mouth the wrong way they flip it around with out the fish even exiting the mouth
i would have to say the ORCA even though it's not really a fish, its an amazing animal and awsome to watch, especially when they play tennis with seals 
and whats the coolest part about them is when they have to they CAN feed on GREAT WHITES

i agree with the killerkoi killer whale would be my favorite aquatic preditor or dolphin butlike he said they ain't fish.........so predatory fish i would say tiger shark or hammerhead
Well, used to like and want Asian Aros but since got my Silver aro, think like it more than Asian aros for the way silvers swims...like snake. Asian aros swims like any fish i would assume looking at their body type. So 1 vote for Silver or Black aros.
