Electric eels are a tad risky to keep with little kids and cats or deppressed teenagers. but if none of these things are problems to the individual then maybe it could be managed from the common perspective.. I do not support the removal of fish from their native habits without intention to spawn them in order to prevent wild capture. Considering that no electric eels have been captively bred, I will by no electric eel although they are quite the oddity
