these are the true parrot cichlids, the "average tattooed or pink ones" are hybrids of severum and RD/Midas, very nice indeed
 
man those are some wicked nice lookin parrots..are they a pair..or just friends...how big are they...

Venezuelan or brazilian

We all know brazilian are the pimpest of the parrots ;)

:swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: !!! HOW DARE YOU EVEN COMPARE!! These are the real deal, nothing but PURE parrot...Hoplarchus psittacus baby!! NOTHING HYBRID here!! :D Looks like they are the Venezuelan strain, IMPRESSIVE! Makes me miss my babies all that much more!! Must be a LARGE tank, cuz full grown parrots push 16"...and aren't exactly the most friendly with each other at times!
