Does anyone know how big they do get and how to tell the sex?

Here's one bigger than 11inches. Sexing is the same as any other bichir.

Wow farm breed ansorgii did spread out faster than I thought! And yes they grow bigger than 11" as ansorgii is probabaly the second largest bichir. People are still debating if congi, ansorgii or pbb is the biggest.

yeah they can get big in the wild, but don't be expecting yours to get anywhere near as big.

agree, but freshwaterfishing, you won't be able to sex yours for a while. still too small to be sexed.

Whats the difference between ansorgii and an endlicheri, they do look very alike.
