Poly with Discus?

Have anyone try or keep them together? is this a good mix. not trying to do it but just curious about it.

i wouldn't do it the main reason being bichirs snap at anything in front of their mouths when hungry and discus wouldn't stand a chance,not to mention a large snakelike fish swimming about would send them into a mad panic !!!

Polys prefer hard neutral to alkaline conditions. Discus prefer soft acidic conditions and higher temps than polys would be comfortable in.
