So glad to finally have once more 8 of these cuties!
I got the African leaf fish ordered from Germany and the fish arrived in very good health.
Soon after being released in the tank some immediately started preying on some feeder shrimp while others went into hiding and another one was playing dead.
Had to house them in a 100 liter tank since at less than 2cms in length they cannot be trusted with 4 almost full grown South American cousins.
Feeding time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtViTJ5vmio
Their South American cousins (Monocirrhus polyacanthus).
Does anyone know where to find Nandus nebulosus or Nandus slaty blue for sale in Europe?
