Polypterides can mix with what other monsters?

No prob start with smaller species of the things u would like to keep ... Not forever just to get u use to everything .... Like stick with sens and retro and del bichirs for a little bit until u can get a 75gal get u some experience with mini monsters b4 u jump to titans of fish tanks lol and if u get a 75 gal it will open up a new world of fish u can house within a tank ... And it just continues past that ... A 55gal may look good size and all but in all actuality it's not big at all ... Width kills it at 12" but a 75 is 18" and is much better for anything
Here Is a example I bought a endli at 2" and within 1 year he is now 14" .... He can no longer be housed in anything less that a 75gal a 55 would be way to small (dimension wise) but I have had a del for 3 years an it is 9" and can prob live in a 55 gal for 2-3 more years b4 it finally outgrows it
No it's not ... I'm saying that a 75 gal will be 1000x better than any size under it cause it opens up new doors for other fish ... Take ur ghosts for example they will not last for life in a 55 gal cause they get 20" long a 55 is only 12" wide
But a 75 gal is 18" wide .... Now it is not recommended to keep a 20" fish in a 18" wide tank ... But it can be done even if it's just till u can find something bigger to house it

But they will last a good while in a 75 gal .... They will not however last awhile in a 55 gal

I'm not sayin that gallons r not important because it is .... I'm tryin to say (the dimensions) of a tank is key to fish that get larger in size
sounds like someone was given a tank and then just went and bought what looked cool. There are many great sites such as here, to find answers to any questions you might have. alot of them have already been figured out and posted of course. lots of good info in the species identification/behaviors threads for polys.
