No I actually got this one from Aquatic Day Care. I saw the picture of it and it's distinct patterns and bought it. This guy really stands out on a crowd. Can't wait until he gets to a monster size
Polypterus Ansorgii Photo Thread

When I got my first Koliba (jumper) about a year ago, Jason (ADC) had sent me pics of the ansorgii he had at the time and they were pretty nice looking. Whoever is supplying him with these seems to get some good looking patterned fish in.
Extebsing this Bandwagonsorgii thread. Ansorgii specie is suppose to be the slowest growing lower jaws out there.

I'm terrible with poly timelines, but was about14- 15" a little over 3-3.5 years ago I believe. I referred it to a friend, so he got it. Than he sold it to somebody else. I then got it back at about 17" from a trade 1.5 year ago maybe.
Just a suggestion. But if you're thinking about acquiring one. Perhaps consider a larger size. Growths vary as you'll read from other threads. Lol
Toyin dont have any ansorgii no more but once he get some ill get it.
IME any bichir that has a monster appetite will grow fast regardless of species.
Why do you have to choose the bad photos from the past? Half of them, their contrast is off.
