Probably just a similarity. I've seen quite a few variation in congicus! Blonde with longer flat heads. Seen some with blocky heads.

Seems like these guys hit a growth wall. Not getting over 17 to 18 inches.

Yeah most of my bichirs got stuck at 16"-18". Took forever to pass that size. Once they pass 18" though, I've noticed its faster again til like 21"-22" then slows down to almost an inch a year. Of course, I've seen people who grew their Congicus from 7" to 24" in a year.

I don't think I ever added the 27" WC platinum Congicus in this thread. Believed this piece cost $27k USD. This piece belongs to someone in China.

Son posted this on fb in behalf of his father , Zaric Foo from Singapore. Owned this congicus for 14 years and likely bigger than the 24" as stated. This specimen was 23" in 2010
