Polypterus delhezi — some questions

Ok so bushfish and Endlis is no perfect combo since i wont get adult bushfish here.
I think i‘ll stay with the Dels at first.
Is there any other Bichir i could keep together with Delhezi in my tank size?

I find Del's don't get nearly enough love... Everybody wants to go Endli because they're a little bigger or ornates etc. But I think your original plan of a pile of Del's and Bushfish would make for an awesome tank.

As far as CB Del's size yeah most of them may end up around 10-11", but I had one in college that grew to a true 14.5" (nearly 37cm) - wish I'd been able to keep that fish between moves. He was a beast

If i would choose the combo of Dels and Endlis could there be problems with cannibalism?
I mean since the Endlis will get bigger than the Dels soon or later.
At first i want to buy the Dels and let them grow before the Endlis arrive.

I would say once your dels get past around 6-8" and have a decent girth on them(fat enough to deter any larger bichirs from trying to eat it) you will be safe ?
