Polypterus Delhezi "albino"

Hi guys,

have u ever seen an albino delhezi before ? :D

that look like a Polypterus lapradei.
 
yea theres been pics of albino's come up from time to time on the threads.
it kinda looks like the albino sen i used to have but mine wat a fatty short body.

I think the head is different with senegalus :D
but im not really sure if its a pure delhezi, since so many breeders cross breed them with senegalus

No, albino ;)

albino = lack of pigments other than pink/red
leucistic = pure white with black eyes

I kind of agree with the second sentence, though there are a few benefits to it being a del rather than a sen: nicer body shape, it's rarer (personally, I really don't care about rarity when it comes to fish, but I know there are many here who do), and from what I've seen, dels tend to have much nicer dorsal fins than sens.

nope, look at the shape of the head/jaw, laps have flatter heads and their lower jaw extends farther than the upper jaw; delhezis have more rounded heads and the jaws are about even with eachother. :)
