Sorry for your loss. =(
To any other fellow bichir owners I was wondering something and this topic brought it back up. I am thinking about getting an Endli and I was wondering, I currently have an 8" Ropefish in my tank and I was wondering if it would be safe to put say a 4"-6" Endli in the tank and let it grow with the rest of my bichirs. My question is eventually would the Endli eat the Ropefish or would it be ok?
id be careful... ropefish don't grow fast and bichirs seem to. and ropefish are very very thin

someone on here had a weeksi that ate his ropefish... and the ropefish was longer lol.

Definitely have to keep this into perspective. If the fish's girth is smaller than the opening of largest fish's mouth, then consider all things smaller to be eventual snacks.

well...
endlis are very predatory compared to other bichir species.
ive lost 12 CLs to the endlis thus far.
sorry for your loss man.

yeah so ive found out :D

I have it up for sale now, also gives me more room for new fish :D might replace it with another delhezi
