Depends on a few things, im sure more bichirs would make it feel more comfortable so it would probably become more active w/ that. Low lighting makes them more active ime, also it may still be adjusting to the new tank so itll be like that for a bit. Also comes down to individual personality

I agree strongly with all of the above... Especially more endlies equals more activity. I have 15 endli's and 4 ornates spread between two tank's. All are between 12" -20", and It is very rare for me to look at those tank's and not see some bichirs swimming around. I do agree some individuals swim much more than others...
I have pretty bright lighting on them also, If I dimmed it down I might see alot more activity, but I don't like looking at dark tank's...
Anyways, congrats on your bichirs, glad to see more people getting interested in bichirs in ohio!!!
