I agree strongly with all of the above... Especially more endlies equals more activity. I have 15 endli's and 4 ornates spread between two tank's. All are between 12" -20", and It is very rare for me to look at those tank's and not see some bichirs swimming around. I do agree some individuals swim much more than others...
I have pretty bright lighting on them also, If I dimmed it down I might see alot more activity, but I don't like looking at dark tank's...

Anyways, congrats on your bichirs, glad to see more people getting interested in bichirs in ohio!!!
 
I like how people who've never seen my tanks react to the dark tank, they don't really see the fish because its dark, then they look super close and sometimes hop back cuz they expect normal fish and not a bunch of eel looking things haha

Lol! xD i just got my first 3 "REAL" bichirs a few days ago, 3 wild caught 18-20 inchers that came from jurassic aquatics! (Got em from a local member on here that got em through them...) they are a enderlicheri tikinso, koloton, and ansorgii... But to be honest, the enderlicheri has the best patterns and is the most active of the 3! Enderlicheris are awesome!

Lol, Im not 12, Im 15. and I got a KILLER deal. I mean a KILLER deal. The guy was in a bad situation because somebody bought his tank and the person that was going to buy the fish bailed on him. So he had 3 ploys and an eel all in a small bin. He gave me a deal of a lifetime. Look at my other recent threads, i have pictures on them.
