If its only 3" then I would break the massivore in half at least and also try hikari cichlid gold sinking and do as the others have said and persevere and welcome to mfk,good to see another UK mfker.

What sort of growth should I expect ?
My original plan was to go for oscar and jd as tankmates but was thinking I would like some other unusual tankmates as the oscar may out grow the poly ?
I was liking the look of dats but have read they grow really slow.

I can't belive it I just got in from work and dropped him a hikari sinking carnivore pellet in after I broke it in half and he was straight out and gobble up half :O)
