I did a fairly large water change 2 days ago(40%) and since then, two of my 6 polys are acting weird. It's like they swallowed air and have a hard time sinking to the bottom.

I've noticed their excrements have air bubbles in them, and a few times I saw the ornate blow out some bubbles.

Last night they could barely swim back to the bottom. Today, the smaller lap is back to normal it seems, but the larger ornate is still having the same problem.

What could be the cause and what can I do to help them?

All other fish are acting just fine.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks!

Steve

Sounds some what normal mine have done that they have bubbles comeing out all the time they gulp air and out comes a few bubbles now and then

They should be back to normal soon

i have had mine do that after i did something in the tank that stressed them, just like your large water change.

give it a few days and it should be fine.

This morning, I went to check on the tank, and the big ornate(I say big cuz it's the biggest poly I have, but he's only 8-9") was swimming in the dark at the bottom of ther tank. Acting quite normal.

Soooo, I'm very happy!

Thanks again!
Steve
