Good luck with congo tetras. The only ones I could find in my area were $5/ea and tiny. After a couple got eaten I tried to keep them in an intank refugium to grow out and either they were escaping or my Senegal was getting in there at night and eating them. It was a $40 snack for her lol. My local zoo has a huge tank full of them and they are gorgeous once they develop their colorsI have a cteno with her now and they get along great. They make a cool pair!
Wow, looks like he had good meal that night LOL. Yeah, ctenos are perfect with bichirs and they are also perfect for my biotope my only problem right now is the senegalus. No senegalus in the congo means NO senegalus in my congo biotope tank
i really want to get my hands on one especially the long finned ones
