Ok but lets really get to the point of this thread! counting!
I think i can count I made use of a photo editing program to dot off the scales to make it less confusing. I count 64 scaled. It gets kinda unclear near the tail as they dont follow a totally straight line anymore...

u cant really see the red dots on the picture but if u save it and zoom in u can see them

how much did they big guys cost? i read that they are rarer then ansorgii and those are going for $500.

u r absolutely right... they are rarer than ansorgii and much better looking too... but price isnt important right guys? afteral price is just a number... fish are only worth what your willing to pay for them... and people like koen are willing to pay so just accept the fact that koen is THE MAN with the coolest fish and stop asking about the price...

and to answer your question, the teugelsi is supposed to reach a max of 45 cm according to reports, but these are pretty much there or already over it, so I dont think the reports are very accurate. But the Ornatipinnis is supposed to reach about 65 cm. SO according to the books the ornate is bigger but who knows how big these teugelsis really get.
