There is a Senegal in a lake in Africa that reaches 24"+ .... But it's so dangerous in the area no one even attempts it .... Witch sucks for collectors who who would kill for a sen of those sizes

I'm not sure about 24" but yes the lake Turkana Senegal is a monster of a Senegal and it has been said if there is a senegalus meridonalis that the lake Turkana Senegal is as close as we will get.

I can't answer that but I did see a pic in a old thread of one in a tank .... Witch is where (I thought I saw) the 24" at

Not that I know of. Only one I heard of was a WC specimen kept for research.

Thanks Mate...seen a dehelzi the other day and was very tempted. Was a little too skinny and its eyes were to buggy...probably been stunted or poorly cared for.
