a larger one like ornate would be good or a delhezi mabye they are pretty thick just don't get a senegal they grow slow and are pretty small they usually end up as food

right now, I have a 6" sen and a 5" albino in w/ a 4" oscar that's more aggressive than most O's and they're fine together. I've also had 10" bichirs in w/ plenty more aggressive cichlids than oscars when the cichlids were about 8" w/o incident.

Actually i think it really depend on the fish, i used to have an 12" endli & 10" del together with a 9" oscar without any major problem. the only problem is feeding as the oscar is faster of the fish.
