Polypterus with red scratch like marks along his scales. worried.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Get a kit and keep the water clean. Daily wc's till improvement. Add some some salt to promote slime coat growth. Keep an eye on the reddened area. Hope to see it better soon.

Ruchurd Yung. Video is not working.

This game is fun. factors that lead me to be a congicus is the yellowish base color, vertical markings, but more importantly. I see two horizontal lines in between the head and body. So, congicus to me. I can be wrong and it's an endli.

The headshape and pattern, pectoral fin pattern, dorsal finlets make me think endli. I've seen plenty of yellow based Endli! :)

My ornate had a spot like that when she was little except it was on her back and it was because she burnt herself on the heater.

I'm gonna be firm on my guess of it being a Congicus. call me a newbie :-)

@ richard Yung request to reload video and a better full body pic of this poly. The red marks should go away. keep us posted.

For me it really looks like a congi, cause of the yellow base and the thin tiger like pattern. We need another video just focus on this fish, lolz

Hope he can get a full clear body photo. The feature just doesn't look right for Congicus. I've seen Endlis that look like the one that OP has. Will try to find photos.
