Whaaat GET A PYTHON! Best.Investment.Ever. Nothing beats watching your water change happen from the couch. Lets you multitask and clean filters or whatever. Suchhhh a good investment!

Let me know how the cl school goes! Got to agree with predpred, but to five for me. Someone on here used to have an absolutely massive clown loach. I'll try to pin the thread with the photos down. Possibly a holy grail of a fish, but Im hoping mine get there one day.

I will also probably get a python. After i buy it ill wonder why i waited so long but until then too much money for a hose lol

Can always just have a syphon tube going into a rubermaid like 30gal tote and dump the rest. I jeep some tank water for yard plants instead of dumping down the sink, as well as using more water from faucet with python. Poor design imo

Well i got some smaller (apparently too small) clown loaches for my 75 which has my smaller bichirs, pbass and flowerhorn. Well i guess the bass predator instict kicked in and right when i put them in the tank he took one lol. Well im down to three of them now and theyre currently in my 5 gal until i decide what i can do with them. Lesson learned, do not under estimate a peacock bass. Their mouths are huge. It was bad because i saw the cl head sticking out like help me. I feel awful

Yea some im down one haha. Oh well. You live and ya learn. Hopefully they can grow pretty quick so i can move them in there. I read they grow at a decent rate until they hit about the 4-5" mark

Be honest with u I don't think they will grow fast enough to ever go in there the pbass will grow faster and much bigger

They do grow pretty quick to the 4" mark. Here's a few pics of beastly clowns (I claim no responsibility for these photos):

Sorry to hear about your cl. I can't even put feeders in my tanks for that reason. Suffering of any kind makes me sick on my stomach. I have an image of the manjushri in the likeness of max from where the wild things are tattooed on my arm for this reason ;p

It will be a while before they can be housed with pbass. Years, in all likelihood. Mine are fine with 11"-14.5" Poly's at 5-6".

Pbass are trickier because you can park a car in the great, gaping maw of their mouths

Once my peacock bass is big enough hes going in with my polys for now. Hes got a little ways to go. But most likely he will be in there before i move the cl over to the 75. I will get some pics
