Polys with wolfs?

So i have an opportunity to purchase a 3" High Fin Red Wolf fish and was wondering if i should pass it up or pick it up. Not sure how he would do with my bichirs though. currently have an 8" ornate, 7" albino sen, 6" Del and 6" Endli and a 4" Del in the 125 along with 2 ropefish 8" and 16" the smaller of which could be moved to the growout tank if needed. Will the high fin attack the bichirs? Ive read that they are less aggressive than the larger species but didn't know if that equated out to them being poly safe

Should be fine to keep. Just keep a little hiding spot for it cause of the large ornate. It'll hide if it gets nipped. Also want to to get atleast 4-6inches or bigger.

I've had them with upper jaws without problems. Shouldn't attack the bichirs. Should be poly safe.

okay good to know. ill have to see if its still available when I get a chance to go back to the store. Im a firefighter and work 24-48 hour shifts along with being a full time college student and exotic fish tend to turnover quick in stores so oftentimes what i see is no longer available when im able to get back to the store.

I understand the work thing. See if you can get it. Should work out.

Forgot to ad. Keep in mind once it gets to 5-6inches depending on how it's fed and eats. It'll be thick enough most of the polys should leave it alone.

I've had success with mala and curu with bichirs, if anything my ornate is the nippy one. Hope you get your wolf!

nice. they had just gotten 2 in when i was there on sunday so we'll see if they're still available. I probably wont make it back over until friday.

Nice looking wolf! I have a black wolf that's around 6" with my 10" lap, they both are best buds!
