I live in the uk and have a pond overwhelmed with algae nothing seems to get rid of it we've tried snails live plants and treatments please can you give me ideas for what will eat the algae by the way I live in the uk

Grass carp

There's your problem. Pond that small Is hard to balance. If it is shallow algae will take over. Try a shade cloth over the pond.

The location it's in it only get about 2-3 hours of sun so I didn't think a shade cloth would be worth it
American flagfish eat any algae. Rosy barbs also will eat string algae.
Are they suitable for outdoors in the uk because it is coldwater
