Pond build pics

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd totally go swimming in it during the summer.

Kois are doing great. Pond walls are maturing. Wall algae is starting to come in nicely.
Here's some pictures from yesterday.

Fire and Ice :) you stated earlier you have to work on your tor pond, I may sound tupid but what is a tor?

I guess I can derail my own thread.
My tor (mahseer/spinibarbus denticulatus/neolissocheilus) pond.

Indian mahseers are hard to get. I prefer these over others because these are cold water, the others aren't. Anglers love to fish mahseers because they get to 36". I currently have 60 being grown out and I'm pretty sure I see four different sp in the bunch.
Grab some while you can. You're too late on this go around. Got mine from Wes (Rare Fish).

I see a lot of these builds on MFK. And I have my pond built with Firestone liner and Slab slate walk around. Cost me nearly $1000.00 to do. Their is absolutely no comparison to these types of ponds and I'm wondering what type of initial investment would someone need to look at when setting something like this up? $10, 20, 30 K?
