Yup, I am totally going to be building one of those K1 drum filters with the blower for each large system, it seems to way to go for bio.

Bump. I'd like to see some numbers here
Say for a 400 gallon or so tank.
Do inline from a 2500gpm pump ($200) to an ultima ii 2000 ($500) to a Laguna 3200 ($750) then back to tank. Total about $1500 to set up.
The ultima would be your main bio filter and catches big stuff which is easy to back flush, Laguna would be the polishing filter with some added bio. Should he really easy to maintain too.
