pond fish

Okay, it gets down to forty but what is the pond like, how big, how deep, and how warm does the water get?

thats about the same it get in FLA i think u could add many knids no problem. we had plecos and oscars in our pond down there
 
Where I live, it's been getting down to the low 30's lately. I actually have some guppies outside in one of those large ceramic pots. But it's been generation after generation so they're use to it. I tried to put goldfish with them, but they always die. :(

Air temps and water temps are often not the same, it has been in the twenties/thirties at night here but the local river is still in the forties.
 
That would work and if you forget to feed it, it won't die on you.
