ok my mom is buying a new house and she aloud me to have my pond there, what size of pond will be able to house an alligator gar, RTC, RTCxTSN and a TSN for life. help?

20'x 4' pool and a REALLY good filter and a cover net so the fish don't jump out.

the gar(i beleive you have been told before) grow to 4 or 5'. and red tail cats can also reach a rather rediculously large size. as well as RTCxTSN. so a 20'x4' deep is about the only option.

20 ft in length 6-10 ft in width cause your gar might grow up to a wacking 10 ft and really nid a turning point equivalent to it's length to avoid damages at the back:WHOA::WHOA::WHOA::WHOA::WHOA: but it depends cause their adult size is 5 ft. right?.Don't flame me if I gave the wrong info, I just got it from wikipedia :D.I also have trouble in finding a fish taker whom I can give my gar cause he's a pain in my ass. :(

RTC, RTCxTSN, TSN and a gar sounds right to me. i think thats 21 feet of fish right there. that'll be good for life. 20'x4' thats good.

awww... guys i think theres a new species of alligator gar hehe! ive seen the biggest alligator gar in the philippines, its just like 3 to 3 1/2ft so i guess its a dwarft alligator gar?

Well, you can say that's a dwarf alligator gar cause he lives in a 200 gal aquarium. ;)) right? anyways alligator gar's adult size is 5 ft and can grow up to 7-9 ft at it's full potential.10 ft gars are considered as record fish and can rarely be seen in the wild.

Not dwarf, stunted. If it's the one I'm thinking of it can't even turn in that tank, might put a dent in its growth capacity.

I say 20' diameter roundish pont, 4 or 5' deep sounds about right. Bigger is always better anyway, why go for the minimum?

nope! its wasnt 200 gal.. it was a 180 or 150... youve been to kartimar right? have you seen the RTCs of store 15 or it was 13. they are huge! anyways back to the topic. i bought my gar to them and they said their alligator gar tops at 3ft or less the parents of my gar was from those 3ft gars so im assuming he wont grow more than 3ft?
