Not dwarf, stunted. If it's the one I'm thinking of it can't even turn in that tank, might put a dent in its growth capacity.

I say 20' diameter roundish pont, 4 or 5' deep sounds about right. Bigger is always better anyway, why go for the minimum?

why go for the minimum? because i live in the philippines and if people know that im rich theyll kidnap me. thats why its best to keep your profile low here.

why do you want to get a pond and show how much money you got then? the minimum for the fishes you want/have/get is 20'x4'.

nope! its wasnt 200 gal.. it was a 180 or 150... youve been to kartimar right? have you seen the RTCs of store 15 or it was 13. they are huge! anyways back to the topic. i bought my gar to them and they said their alligator gar tops at 3ft or less the parents of my gar was from those 3ft gars so im assuming he wont grow more than 3ft?

UHm I think so? but I've been to a store where they had 2 4 ft lung fishes .Okay back to the topic.Hmm... I think you can stop the growth of your gar by putting him into a small pond/ aquarium because I have a friend who also has an alligator gar in their house but never seen them outgrow the tank, but if you can't stop the growth of the gar then just make it slow down by feeding it 1 gold fish once a week BTW if you still want another gar, you can buy mine for 500 pesos only =))! I bought it for 700 php when it was 6" inches but it's now 10 inches long so I'm planning to sell it since I can't build a pond for it neither I can put it along with my 10 inches arowana since he's biting the aro's head.

now im not showing my money im just saying its different here in our place put on a gold necklace you cant go a mile far without being rob.

Nah, that's not a bad thing to do at all since I can't put him with the aro since he bites the head of the aro everytime. So instead ,I placed him into a 10 gal tank to avoid the risk of my aro and my knife fish getting killed/eaten by the gar and I'm still trying to negotiate with the fish keeprs I know if they want to buy my a gar.Besides, I can't build a pond for him because there's not enough space in our home anymore for that pond for him to live permanently.I should've asked/done some research first before I bought the fish. Anyway, he's one healthy fella .

just them for now...but you still have time right? are fishes aren't huge yet? if not, then you can have a 240 grow out tank to get you pond going. and i know about PI...my dad was born in Manila.

i was talking about the plan of stunting the fish... its like an animal right violation hehe! or even a crime. but they give good info and sadly always right haha!

the gar is 17" the RTC and RTCxTSN is 4" and 5" and the TSN is about 11" they are not in the same tank though
