Pond for Pima

Hey guys , to clarify about the posting i did post this under the pond section but it was moved here by the mods. I even got an email sent about the moving. Nvm that.
I think the idea of putting a net over the pond would be good but then the net would have to be spread tightly over the whole pond so that the fish won't have enough slack to jump out. I recently had my 6.2lb Snakehead jump out of my pond and i believe it was out of water for over 3 hrs! This was bcos i left home at around 7 that day and was back only at 2:30 but my sister claimed to have seen nothing amidst when she was viewing the pond around 11. I was really sad about it bcos i thought the metal gauze netting i had over the pond was good enough but apparently the fish was strong enough to push the net and jump out. My water level was also 1 1/2 feet away from the net just to give an idea how strong the fish is.
I've seen farms that keep huge 7 ft pimas that have fencing 5 ft around the pond but i thought that would be horrible at home.

I thought posts about pima's usually went under the general Ancient Fish forum, not in the Arowana subforum. They might be bony tongues and closely related, but arowana they are not...
