Pond Height Concern - Glass Thickness

Sorry for being a pain. WHat if I were to add a support across the length of the glass at the 36" height of the pond? I would run the water level at 28"-30". Would that impact the integrity of the glass/tank?

Even just that without the support along the water line would probably improve things significantly because you're cutting the depth of the water by 25%.

You could use the smaller piece and have the window towards the top of the tank. The water column depth at the bottom would only be like 22". But youd be looking down or to the side for a large portion of the tank.
