Pond Liner is leaking

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Figured it out... Going to do a little mcgyver type sh*t here and use some old fashioned duct tape on the inside of the liner because duct tape will seal under water and i am going to buy a rubber repair kit where you burn the stuff, stuff the patch on and blow the flame out and bam! no more leak and with that stuff it wont leak again!! Problem solved very economically.

I want to see a video taken of this act happening.

And this begs the most obvious question to anyone reading the pond section.... How dumb are we all here? answer - pretty freaken retarded everyone of us LOL... And you ask why - because the obvious answer to this dilemma was go to the pool store and buy a patch kit because they are for being applied in water. Thank you all for being just as dumb and uninformed as I. ty ty :headbang2

There is a difference between a vinyl pool liner and a rubber pond liner. -not so dumb

Ya a pond liner is a far different material. Ask before you buy. Or go to Walmart and buy a kiddie pool for a while to put them in and make the fix happen and move them back.

Sweet. Ha ha should have remembered it was a pool. Not a real pond liner.

I already
patched it yesterday with the kit i got from the pool store and it worked. My pond is a 1018 gallon intex pool set up in my basement.
