pond pellets vs hikari

hey guys i saw pond pellets at the store today while picking up some cichlid gold but just wondering what is the major differance because they are a lot cheaper for a lot more pellets it would definatly save money but im gunna keep buying hikari because i think its better but not sure why its better any one feed their fish pond pellets rather then more expensive food

What kind/brand of pond pellet? They vary greatly. I would compare the protein content. Some pond pellets will leave a mess in the tank.

really hmm interesting might try that with my aro and yeah thats what i was thinking that they would leave a mess and i was gunna get the brand name but i didnt i forgot it was at walmart for 12 bucks in a big sack and they had pod sticks too for the same price

if you buy the koi food make sure it says color enhancer

i also bought some good arowana sticks wow but he got so big from 6in to 14in ( or bigger not really sure ) in less than 6 months ...i think it was the arowana food ...or may the koi sticks mix with the aro sticks sorry it was koi sticks not pellets

he is like 6 or 7 inches i feed cichlid gold, shrimp and talipia and he eats bloodworms that i put in for the pbass as well

i feed mine tilapia aslo he loves that stuff.. try feeding him crickets n meal worms
