yeah i used to feed him meal worms when he was smaller because the dragon ate small worms and he still does so the worms seem a little small for the aro

I think that pond peelts, even the good ones ( i only kmow of Hikari pond pellets ) are mostly desighemd for Koi and therefore should not be fed as staple.

I do feed it to my cichlics, every one in a while ( hikari ones ) to add some geern matter to their regimen.my aros take it in stride when fed to the ca's.

I feed a very good koi pellet to my fish. Actually, if you compare to pellets made specially for carnivores, the nutritional values are about the same.

hey guys i saw pond pellets at the store today while picking up some cichlid gold but just wondering what is the major differance because they are a lot cheaper for a lot more pellets it would definatly save money but im gunna keep buying hikari because i think its better but not sure why its better any one feed their fish pond pellets rather then more expensive food

I compared the ingredients of pond pellets (Yardleys) with Hikari Cichlid pellets years ago. I was not able so see any noticeable difference. Our fish have been fed exclusively (except a very rare treat of fruit or veggies) a diet of pond pellets until very recently. The only problem we've had is that the pellets float and make their way into the overflow box. We solved our problem by modifying the pond pellets into sinking food.
