I'm putting a pool in my garage for my fish. Id like a pond pump that will circulate the water and I'd like it to have a waterfall in the center of the pool. It's about 600g. Can someone tell me what I'm looking for? Like what size I would need for gph.

Well to start off 4-6× turn over is a good spot to be. This of course depends on the fish you plan to keep. Is this pump going to be the only pump running? Will it in some way supply water to your filtration? Or just the water fall? What design have you decided on for the waterfall? What are/is the filtration on this pond? Sounds like your waterfall is more of a spout? Or are you planning on building it up from inside the pond? Pics or a drawing would help. Depending on how high the pump has to push the water and how much stuff that water needs to go to will also help with what pump size you need.

I have a 300g pond that I run a jebao 10000 on. It's set at 80% which is about 1800gph. I have a sump set up for filtration. The water flows from the pond into the sump by gravity. Then back to the pond from the pump. I was planning on building a waterfall on the side/end of the pond from the return off the pump. Haven't done that yet. But that way the one pump does all the work.

Well I bought something I don't know if i should take it back I'm not sure if it will work? I have 2 fx6's that are on the tank now I was planning on using in addition. Do you have a pic of your sump?

These guys are going in there for the summer so i can reseal this tank and hopefully find a bigger one. I may bring the pool in the house after summer if it's my only option. The pool is going in my garage.

It's just a tote. 55g with a smaller one on top to hold the filter socks. It's stuffed in a closet. The pond wasn't meant to be permanent but I like it.....I just miss the side view of the fish.

I'd say your fx6s are going to be way better then that. I can get a set up pic if you'd like, like I stated above it's not much to look at but does an excellent job.

That tingling feeling you’re experiencing is almost certainly a grounding issue rather than a problem with the pumps themselves. Even with GFI outlets, concrete floors can allow stray voltage to build up, and any metal equipment or wiring that isn’t properly bonded to a single ground point can create exactly what you’re feeling. Installing a grounding probe and making sure all pumps, filters, and other electronics share the same properly grounded connection usually resolves this. I’ve seen it happen even with high-quality pumps, including the Best Pond Pumps From MidWest Ponds, and once everything was tied to a dedicated ground, the shocks stopped completely until then, it’s safest to avoid touching the water with open cuts.
