Imagine a concrete square pond of 5m x 5m & 1m deep along the back wall of a back garden, rising 50cm above the lawn.
I now increase the depth by 15cm along the back & side walls in concrete, and add a 15cm glass through-viewing panel along the front wall, facing the house, so you're looking into the water (a bit) & not only at the surface reflection (when at the kitchen window)
What's this called??!!!
I need a picture. I've seen in real-life & in books years ago, but can't find photos online - I assume as I don't know the google'able term.

Client is putting a pond with stepping-stones in front of the bedroom's glass-door, low-angle viewing (from the bed) so they will only really see reflection off the water unless standing at the window. I'm suggesting a 6" glass "lift" at the threshold so they'll look through & into the water as well as at the surface reflection.
Stubbed toes, yes...

Thanks
