Pondmaster AP-100 Air Pump Diaphragm Kit

just wondering how often you guys replace the diaphragm on your ap 100 air pumps?

do you just change them yearly? wait until it goes bad? whats your thoughts?

I do not own one but from what I nderstand you are best to keep a rebuild kit on hand. I have had one apart and will never buy one because I do not like the design

I have an ap 40 that has run continuously for several years with no maintenance whatsoever. I should probably clean the air filter, but have no idea how long the diaphragm will last.
