Ponds upstairs..?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I built a 200g pond in my fish room that will be used as a sump soon. It's 2X4 construction with plywood and 1" foam sheets on the sides and bottom for a cushion when I fall in it again and to help insulate it from the cement slab it is on. I used a pond liner and drilled an over flow to the sewer on the side in case the water rises too fast. PM me for picture

in ur apartment?

Ive seen most people build their ponds downstairs in their basements, but i was planning on having a 300 stock tank upstairs (its the only place it can go & its too cold to be outside all year round)

To see if a stock tank will be installed or not above your neighbors....

I've read several threads where people have 200+ sized tanks on upper floors, I would think with a 'pond' it would be spread out more... thus less psi.

Will it be round? Maybe 6 feet in diameter?
